I am currently adding some attic storage to my house.  There are a couple areas under the roof by a room upstairs that are not accessible.    One of the reasons for doing this is so that I can insulate the ceiling of the theater I built last year.

I have punched a hole through the wall and installed a half-size door in one of them.  I have insulated the floor (ceiling of the theater) and began installing a floor.  I will also add another vent for the theater through the ceiling.  plan to do the vent and finish the floor this weekend.  My wife is dying to have the extra storage space.

Then, someday I will get around to punching the hole on the other one and begin preparing it for use as storage as well.

While doing this, I got to buy myself a great new set of 18v Milwaukee Battery powered tools.  They are very nice.  I have never really owned a really nice drill before.  This thing is awesome.  The whole set is really great.  The battery powered circular saw that came in the set is actually better than my corded skill-saw.

One of these days I will actually get around to taking pictures and post them.  I never seem to take the time to do that, which would be nice to help document the stuff I do for fun.  I should have taken pictures along the way of my Theater project for sure.

I never did get around to updating this thread.

The storage space is finished.  We have moved a bunch of stuff into it.  I also got the new vent added to the ceiling for the theater; along with the insulation in the floor (ceiling of the theater), the theater temperature is a lot more regulated.  I am happy with it now.

I have the door for the second storage space, maybe sometime this summer I will get around to putting that one in.

I also realized that there is another space we do not have access to in that same room, but on another wall.  That space isn't as big, but some shelves or drawers built into the wall would be easily done and very convenient.  Something to think about...
This ended up not being true.  There is no indoor space there.
